Puto Pao

The latest craze in Filipino snack food. Combine puto and siopao and you get puto pao.

Puto Batter:

2 cups cake flour (or 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour + 3/4 cup cornstarch)
1/4 cup sugar substitute like Splenda (or 1/2 cup sugar)
2 tbs baking powder

Ingredients:
romaine lettuce, cut or torn into bite size pieces
butter lettuce, cut or torn into bite size pieces

Ingredients:

3 eggs
1 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 cup Splenda
2 1/2 cups grated zucchini and yellow squash (either one or a comibnation of both)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups gluten flour
1 cup soy flour
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
