Valentine’s Eve Night Out at Edgewood Tahoe

Thank you, Herb and Christel McCandless for a wonderful Valentine’s eve night out. We enjoyed the fantastic dinner at Edgewood Tahoe together with another couple, Rita and Joseph Bienz. The “prix fixe” 4-course menu for February was excellent at $34 per person. Here are the choices and I took some photos (not so good) of what we ordered.
Starters
- Soup of the Day (Boston Clam Chowder)
- Checkered Board Sashimi with Blood Orange Vinaigrette
- Arugula and Butter Lettuce Salad with Poached Pear and Humbold Fog Goat Cheese
Entree
- Pheasant stuffed with Spinach, Ricotta and Pine nuts served on a bed of Spaetzle
- Mirin Marinated Seabass with Plum Wine Sauce and Lemongrass Rice Timbale
- Prime New York with Cippolini Wild Mushroom Ragout
Dessert
- Lemon Tart
- Frozen Chocolate Mousse Tower
