Prawns and Asparagus Stir Fry

Quick and easy, as with all stirfrys. And you can add a little sweet and sour flavor by using ready-made sweet chilli sauce (optional, of course!).
Ingredients:
- 500 grams prawns, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
- 5 stalks asparagus, cut into 2-3 inch pieces
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tsp crushed chili pepper
- 1 tbs oil
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tbs sweet chilli sauce (optional)
Directions:
- Heat oil in wok or saute pan on medium heat. Add crushed chili pepper and garlic and stir fry for 2 minutes, making sure garlic does not burn. Add bell pepper.
- Add prawns and cook until pink. Add asparagus and water, cook for another 2 minutes then add soy sauce. If using, you can add sweet chilli sauce (1 tbs) now.
- Stir for another minute then transfer to a serving plate. Serve hot with rice.

I love this recipe! Looks so easy to do. Can I have a taste? Hmm.. yum yum!
This looks so delicious. I love adding prawns to a spicy stir fry dish. I can’t wait to try out this meal. Maybe, I’ll add some peanuts for good measure
