Also never heard of onions measured in tbsp. No wonder it was bland. I have nothing against "bland" BTW. I have sensitive taste buds. How did the party go? What a great idea and fun theme! I think that there are a lot of recipes that were popular in previous decades that, with a bit of creativity, can be updated for today.
